FTTX is the installation and use of optical fiber and passive optical network technololy, G/EPON , from a central point directly to individual building, and cost-effectively deploy Passive Fiber-Optics in the last mile.

1. Network Architecture & Key Nodes

· Central Office: The core starting point of the network, housing the OLT (Optical Line Terminal) equipment.

· Splice Closure: Positioned along the feeder fiber line from the Central Office, typically utilizing a Bare Fiber PLC Splitter for primary optical splitting.

· Cross Connect Cabinet: A major distribution node where optical signals are aggregated and managed, majorly deploying ABS Box PLC Splitters.

· Terminal Box: The final distribution point located on utility poles or within buildings, commonly equipping Mini PLC Splitters to deliver fiber connectivity directly to subscribers.
