An MTP/MPO Hydra Cable (also known as a breakout or fan-out cable) is a high-performance fiber optic assembly specifically designed for internal routing within high-density plug-and-play cassette modules or direct device patching.It features a high-density, multi-fiber MTP/MPO connector on one end that splits (fans out) into multiple single-fiber or duplex conventional connectors (such as LC, SC, FC, or ST) on the other end, mimicking the structure of a hydra.
